Noida, December 24, 2021: Christmas is the festival that inspires the spirit of sharing and caring. Soaking in the spirit of Christmas, the students of classes Nursery to V celebrated the festival via the virtual platform - Zoom - on 24th December 2021.
A special webinar was conducted for the parents and the students of classes Nursery to II to spread the Christmas cheer. The fun-filled morning and merry-making began with an informative talk on the importance of celebrating Christmas. The students dressed up in red costumes and wore reindeer headgears. They enjoyed the online story narration about the birth of Jesus Christ, by the teachers. Peppy Christmas songs and melodious carols were a complete show stealer and left the audience spellbound.
The students of classes III to V were dressed in all shades of red, white, and green with a Santa cap. Students had set up a nice Christmas corner with material readily available at home like empty boxes wrapped as gifts, ribbons, glitters, stars, bells, stockings, fancy lights on the Christmas tree, and the Christmas decorations. Teachers played informative videos about the birth of Jesus Christ and instilled the values of exchanging good wishes, sharing, family bonding, and spreading goodness all around. Students enjoyed making beautiful greeting cards, papercraft angels, and Santa. They decorated them with a selection of Christmas snowmen, trees, sugar candies, and other Christmas ornaments. The programme culminated with the singing of carols which are symbolic of hope, happiness, and a wish for a prosperous and Happy New Year for all and the world at large..
The day concluded with students wishing each other and the teachers ‘Merry Christmas’. The parents appreciated the efforts of the school in organizing such a wonderful event for the students.
